EKIN Air Jordan 1 Low
The sixth shoe in Nike’s EKIN-exclusive lineage. The EKIN Air Jordan 1 Low "Never Not Working" was made for the EKIN program (Nike spelled backwards), the brand’s product experts and storytellers. Marking the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1, it honours the shared "Never Not Working" mentality between Michael Jordan and the EKINs, finished in a Shattered Backboard palette of black, off-white and orange. Limited to 200 individually numbered pairs and gifted to EKINs only, never released to the public. I acted as project manager on the shoe: developing the concept, briefing the design and material teams, and steering it through rounds of feedback to the final product. This work was created during my time employed at Nike and is included here as a portfolio and resume piece, not Out of Home client work.
